I don’t know what version player I’m on, I let my Nvidia Shield auto-update it. It’s whatever is latest on play store as of this post. I’m hearing something about Plex changing the “experience” for users.
I have Plex to NOT have commercials, to NOT be driven to particular media that advertisers and influencers insist I watch.
I don’t even remember what the ad was for, other than some movie that most definitely is not in my media library.
If my Plex Pass is no longer any good, then tell me what I have to buy to just be left the F alone. Whatever you’re doing with this new UI if it’s going to be shoving adverts in my face is a giant Fail.
Stop trying to “integrate” with other streaming platforms. Just be the home where I put my media.
