Since yesterday I started getting 35 second ads for plex tv. But I am still paid up with plex pass until next year. Why do I have to watch ads now?
Every time I go to watch something from my home server, I have to watch a 35 second ad. Not cool.
If there are ads then you are not watching something from your server.
Our online streaming does have ads. We might just have the same show or movie you have on your server. a Plex Pass will not remove ads from those.
If you do not wish to use our online streaming at all you can disable it for your account at
https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/online-media-sources
Ok that’s weird. Plex keeps trying to make me watch the next episode there instead of from my own server. I will disable. Thanks.
You can also just unpin the “Movies & Shows” from the left side bar and it will not include content from it in continue watching or the home screen
