Why did my collections disappear in the web app???

I am using the collections feature however, my collections have disappeared from the web app. I do not have the ability to sort by collections and then edit them. However, they do show on my other devices that I use. I can see them on the following devices:

  • iPhone
  • Nvidia Shield

Just not the web app. I am running the latest Plex Media server v1.11.0.4666 in Chrome v63.0.3239.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)

In an attempt to fix this issue I have done the following:

  • Disabled Collections and then re-enabled them in the libraries that I use them
  • I also ran a repair on the Plex Media Server and that did not fix the issue either.
  • I also tried different web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Firefox with the same results

The only thing I haven’t done is uninstalled the Media server altogether and then re-install it. Don’t necessarily want to do that unless I have no choice.

Any suggestions?

Collections currently only show in Plex Web when using the hosted version (https://app.plex.tv/desktop – not https://your-ip-address:32400/web). The Plex Web version installed within your Plex Server is always a little behind…

That makes sense. I had restarted my system and I went to check for updates but when I did that it defaulted to the “https://your-ip-address:32400/web

Thanks for the info! Appreciate it!
