The server is accessible on Chrome and Firefox and on the Windows 10 App and the Plex media player. I’m on the windows 10 creators update. This is the first time I’m trying to use plex on edge, so I don’t it know if it worked before creators update. Plex Cloud drive is accessible on Edge tough.
It’s accessible via a secure connection on edge when I tried to access it via the local IP address after I turned my
Secure connection option form : required to preferred
When set to required the it just shows up as page not reachable
I’m running the latest Plex Pass version of Plex Media server
Probably, you have secure connections ‘required’.
This requires DNS rebinding to assign the private IP adddress of your Plex server a FQDN in the .plex.direct domain.
Edge employs its own DNS rebinding protection. So it suppresses this. As a result, your local Plex server is not accessible per its domain name. But this is necessary, otherwise the cryptographic certificate is not valid.
Microsoft has been asked about this, but so far there has been no useful response.
All you can do is use a different browser or set secure connections back to ‘preferred’.

You could use a real browser. Edge is great for downloading Chrome or FireFox. Not much good for anything else.
