Something changed recently - Windows 10 Update? - and now I cannot connect to the Plex Server using Microsoft Edge. I can connect using the “old” Internet Explorer and Chrome. This has happened before but got fixed in a few days. This time around it has been many days and the problem remains. Is this situation trying to tell me to scrap Microsoft Edge?! I am using the latest version of Plex Server.
What version of Windows are you using? I’ve got Windows 10 Pro x64, fully patched, and I’m able to use Edge to access plex.tv and connect to my server (and watch movies), and also connect directly to my Plex server on my local network. Please provide more info on your playback computer and also on your Plex Server (version, computer running it, etc).
No issues here with Edge either, from a Surface Pro4 running latest insider build and from a normal machine running Fall creators update.
Same problem with Edge on a Microsoft Surface Book and fully patched W10 1709. I also have Ad Block running though it is disabled on the server page yet I think that has something to do with it. As the OP said, this has happened before but corrected in a few days. Not this time…
Same problem with both Edge and IE11 on Windows 10 Pro x64. Will there be a fix for this soon? I can log into plex.tv though. The issue is only affecting my local plex server.
