Microsoft Edge and Plex Media Server Problems

I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem, but I cannot access Plex Media Server on Microsoft Edge. I’ve been trying to figure out for 2 days now why I can’t access Plex Media Server from Microsoft Edge. I normally use Chrome, but I set up a new computer and started using Microsoft Edge and couldn’t access PMS. So I tried it on my tablet, which is an Apple tablet, and had no problem connecting.

So I guess whenever I make changes, I’ll need to use Chrome, unless someone out there has instructions on how to change this on Microsoft Edge?

I have no faith in Microsoft Edge. If Edge is there then M$ Internet Explorer is there. Have you tried IE yet?

Use Chrome or Firefox. Edge doesn’t work.

Plex Server claims it's remote despite being on the same network as local devices

Edge has an extra filter in it to thwart ‘DNS rebinding attacks’. This would be commendable, if the implementation of this wouldn’t be so simplistic that it blocks Plex’s (completely legit) use of the DNS system as well. Microsoft have been informed already about this, but so far haven’t improved their filter.
