Why does Plex Client on my LG TV show 720p when the source is 1440x960?

Server Version#: 4.125.1 (From Plex Web - General)
Player Version#: no idea since it’s not easily identified from UnRaid when I click on the package (all my other containers show version numbers but not Plex Server)

Settings are Streaming only (no direct play since it doesn’t work).
Video Quality is set to “Maximum”
Play smaller videos at Original quality is selected.

Do I need to do DVD/BD conversions to fit only 480, 720, 1080, or 2160?

That is the version of Plex Web.

Plex Media Server version is Settings → Server_Name → General, and will be 1.32, 1.40, etc.

Available in the Setings of the Plex LG app.

Is this on the movie pre-play screen?

If so, it is cosmetic. You can ignore it.

Plex shows SD/480/720/1080/4K (maybe 576 as well). It displays the value it thinks is closest to the actual resolution, even if the actual resolution (1440x960) exceeds what is displayed (720p=1280x720).

Thanks for the response, turns out I had two versions of the same episode, one 720 and one 1080 it just defaulted to the 720 … I switched to the 1080 version.

Cheers, Rob.
