It seems that Genres are called Genres everywhere else in Plex except the browsing header labeled Categories. Are there Categories that aren’t Genres? What is the point of this?
On watch.plex.tv, not every category is a genre — e.g. En Español and Descriptive Audio are umbrella categories where things in them still have their own respective genres. Server library content doesn’t have those specific categories, so the mapping there is more 1:1 with genres, but the section labeling is the same for consistency between app.plex and watch.plex.
