Why does Plex see my tuners as active when they are not and won't record.

I just set up a WD MycloudPR2100 and HDHomerun Extend. Today I decided to try recording something. Plex won’t record and gives the message that both my tuners are in use and there is a conflict. I checked my HDHR system log and both tuner streams ended a long time ago. How can I get Plex to recognize when tuners are no longer in use?

easiest way is restart plex media server.

Its an existing thread on the issue, doesn’t seem to be isolated to a specific tuner model. I agree, restarting PMS is the current workaround. I only started having the problem recently unless I just restarted so often before I didn’t have it.
