I used to play my media using VLC in the old app and the media player by itself had its own brightness slider rather than depending on the brightness of the device.
The problem is when I increase the brightness for the movie, it’s the same brightness when I’m exting Plex and I’ll have to manually notch it down a bit. This is very annoying and players are not designed like this in Android.
Literally every player in the market has it own brightness slider and doesn’t depend on the device’s brightness. Be it mpv, vlc or jellyfin.
Is this how it is going to be going forward?
