Why does this not work?

I have an Xbox 1, that is unusual.

When I try to connect to my server to play a video, sometimes it won’t load. If it does actually show the things I have on my server, and I select one, then it will not show the seasons. If the unusual happens and I see the seasons and I click a season, and it shows the episodes (that’s unusual too.) then it will never play an episode. It will open the video, maybe show the thumbnail; but never play it. I don’t know why. My connect is normal on my phone, or desktop. Why?

In xbox one app, or media server?

In the Xbox One app make sure logging is enabled in Settings -> Privacy -> Log to Media Server, and on the server make sure Settings -> General -> Enable Plex Media Server debug logging is checked.

This time, it played some content, then buffered and quit.

The problem eventually went away on its own.
