If I take a look at the metadata of a movie I’ve added to a collection then Cancel my way back out, it will vanish from the collection I added it to (added using the context menu) because apparently hitting Cancel still causes the “Collections” field to revert to blank (because it wasn’t automatically locked).
I don’t get why this field isn’t automatically locked after it’s modified or why hitting Cancel still causes the Collection data to get wiped out!
Are these two issues (i.e. adding a movie to a collection using context menu not locking Collections field and hitting Cancel still causing unlocked Collection field to revert to blank) bugs or features?

ALSO why is only my James Bond collection showing up in the autocomplete list? Feels a little rough around the edges.
I’ve just added every X-Men movie in the entire universe to my X-Men collection but apparently Plex didn’t get the memo from, er… Plex.
If it’s expected behaviour it sure feels weird. It’s like you use this super convenient menu to add a movie to a collection but then you still need to edit it to lock it, or it might come undone at a later point when you least expect it. You might as well not bother with that menu option (ends up being a two-step process if you want to lock it) because adding it via the Collection field locks it simultaneously.
The fact that you don’t see the other collection names might have to do with the fact that this dialog window has a fixed height. (it is a very old part of the app)
Do other collection names show up if you start typing their names?
Turns out a scrollbar was appearing when that dropdown menu appeared.
X-Men was appearing but was being pushed off the bottom of the window. I needed to scroll down to see it. I was expecting the menu to just pop out and overlap the bottom of the window the way it usually happens lol. At least now I know!
