When playing a playlist or album, a song will play, the player will advance showing the next song, but no sound comes out and the counter stays at 0:00. I need to manually advance to another song. Sometimes we get this error:
Playback Error
An error occurred trying to play “song name”.
shaka1001 (Network).
This only started happening in the last couple of weeks. Thank you.
Same issue. Will not play next song without me hitting pause and then play. This happens both on my network and remote. It works fine on the amazon fire stick app but not on the web browser version. It used to work fine. Any fix yet.
After I posted this I thought about trying the web browser on Microsoft Edge rather than Chrome. I hate using Edge but thought it couldn’t hurt. Seemed to work fine on Microsoft browser. Then I remembered about the popup video blocker I added on chrome to stop the yahoo videos. That seemed to be the issue in Chrome. I wish there was a way for it to work with the HTML5 auto play blocker enabled, but at least I know what the issue is not. Hopefully this helps someone else.
I’ve run into this same issue with Plex and some other media streaming sites like Pandora. You can use the setting of the HTML5 autoplay blocker to basically whitelist sites that you don’t want it to affect.
