Ever since recent update I have shows that are indicated as being about to start that don’t show up in the “recording schedule” and do not record. This is very disappointing regression for the DVR functionality. I have deleted and reconfigured the recording to both individual episode as well as the series. I have also reloaded the tv schedule data…to no avail.
That is how my recording schedule looks after a day of recordings. If there is something showing I know there was some issue with the recording. I know most users see the shows there with the Play button but the way I post process the file gets moved to the appropriate drive/folder in the library, so Plex does not actually move it. Are you sure the show is not recording and getting deleted? What does the Plex Media Server log file say for the show around the time it should record or after it would have finished?
After upgrading to 1.8x, there was no problem with my scheduled recordings…they retained perfectly going from 1.7x to 1.8x.
With this new version of 1.8x, everything seems to be working for me, though this is just day 1…that never happened with 1.7x. Thank you (so far) Plex developers!
I do have transcoding off on the HDHomerun tuners…I think I’m going to try to see what happens with it back on…
I had issues a few versions back, and I had to go delete the database files which store that info about a dozen times until two upgrades later and it seemed to fix itself, hope I do not have issues with 1.8…
