Why is my EPG not up to date?

Server Version#: 1.14.0.5470 - happens in older versions too

For quite a few weeks my EPG has been showing “to be announced” if I went more than a few days ahead. It is causing recordings to be missed.

If I force a refresh it works fine, and I get various weeks worth of schedules but left to its own devices it fails. For example right now (having not refreshed menually for quite some time) I am stopped at 3rd December.

Im using a HD HomeRun Connect with 2 tuners. It alone reports no problems.

Any ideas please?

The To Be Announced issue has been reported here UK EPG, any scripts that I can run to force a full EPG download - #57 by Geoff555 and was investigated

The issue is that the metadata provider for the guide is sometimes quite late in getting the information available and then when it is available - the Plex Media Server incremental guide update is no longer looking at the data for those days. The incremental process looks at the current day and also Day + 13/ Day + 14. It appears that some of the TBAs are staying as TBAs in the guide data until closer to the actual airing date,

This has been referred to the development team - to get round the issue, you need to do occasional full refresh. The issue appears to be more on news channels
