My media server is running on Windows 10. The player is also Win10. I see that the server cannot run full bandwidth, my upstream bandwidth can reach 10Mbps, and the upload bandwidth used by the actual server is only one or two Mbps. Playing large files will freeze, small files will not have this situation. (Player downstream bandwidth 1000Mbps)
That usually means that your server is not directly reachable from outside the LAN.
