Okay.
I have a Windows 10 PMS, Plex Pass.
I have enabled DLNA, LAN discovery, etc.
But for some reason on every device (Phone, Firestick TV, Xbox One) the Win10PMS doesn’t load content.
If it does randomly load the front page of my PMS, then it will definitely not play the content it shows. If it actually shows the page of a show, and you click play, then it’ll send you back to home screen of whatever device you’re using.
What do I do?
I have media streaming enabled on the Win10 device, it’s got an ethernet cable allowing 200mbs+ data transfer in my intranet which is where I’m streaming from.
Please provide the logs from both one of the clients and from PMS.
Logs: https://dropfile.to/YXNEW63
That contains every kind of log from the “Download Logs” button
Something is odd. All your devices are connecting to your PMS using 192.168.1.1. Can you explain how your network devices are all laid out? You might have something connected in a way that is affecting the clients seeing your server properly.
My PMS is ethernet-connected (ec) to my router, my router ec to my modem. Everything else is either ec to my router, or connected by wifi to my router, so just about complete direct connection
Well, I’m not sure what is going on. Are you running a reverse proxy?
Nah, I’m not. Simple home connection.
Sounds like I may have the same setup and issue. Racking my brain on this for hours. This all started yesterday or the day before, nothing will connect to my server. Wired or wireless, same problem. It just says server is unavailable. Plex Version 3.39.5 in the general tab - Version 1.12.1.4885 in the settings tab. I’ve reinstalled on everything but the Roku.
I’ve rebooted everything multiple times, signed out and back in, changed LAN cables, I’m seriously at a loss and my wit’s end.

I’m still waiting on a reply, not sure what to do. Computer functions fine normally, good internet speeds. 8GB of ram.
Can you guys get me a log from one of your devices? An Android device if you can, I’m most familiar with looking at those.
Sure, I’ll log from my phone.
Oh and a new log from PMS to go along with it. Just incase something’s changed.
Also it might help to note, sometimes when I go to administrate my plex server, it will always ‘Set Up’ again like asking me what libraries I want added by default and shows my the different apps I can use

That’s not good. That means Plex Web is also not able to connect to PMS. It sees PMS running, but not configured with your settings, so it thinks it needs to create a new server.
Since this is Windows, do you sign out of Windows or allow the computer to sleep when you are not using it? Do you have other Windows user accounts on the machine and log in as those users at different times?
I keep one person logged in, and the computer never sleeps it just blacks out the monitor with inactivity, and here are my logs from my android device: https://ghostbin.com/paste/3zhko
Thanks for the log. Ok, from that it is telling me that your device is unable to create a secured connection to your server. Do you have your server’s security setting set to “Required”? Try changing it to “Preferred” and in the app, there is a setting called “Allow insecure connection”, set that to “On same network”. This should at least get your app to see your server.
The tricky part is trying to figure out why it can’t create the secured connection in the first place. Do you have any type of encryption set up on your network? Or some sort of network monitoring that might be intercepting the connection between your clients and server. These could compromise the secured connection and explain why they won’t connect. The other Plex clients should have this same setting too. See if that helps.
Update:
I did that before you told me too.
My firestick could not stream it, but my android device could.
ALSO: I switched my default browser on the server PC from Edge to Chrome. Seemed I saw some error with edge in the logs so I did that.
Log file of android device: https://ghostbin.com/paste/xu3vo
What happened: I could play a video, but the app said the streaming was indirect.

My firestick could not stream, and it had the settings you recommended.
My phone will not allow insecure connections and it streams it.
