Why is the official Plex client so slow?

  1. both apps have been closed (not in RAM)
  2. hardware is the same (current poco x7 pro)
  3. network is clearly not the issue (WiFi6 on fibre internet)
  4. plex server is on remote network (also fibre)
  5. plex takes ages to load even on another hardware (fire TV Stick 4K Max 2nd gen).

why is plezy so fast and plex so slow?

There’s already another thread we’ve all been posting on for weeks. We’re all feeling the lag on Vizio. PLEASE help me make Vizio aware of the damage to the native app caused by a recent update
