For months now, I’ve been having an issue with my Plex where it is so slow that it becomes literally unusable. Every video I try to watch either times out, refuses to load at all, or buffers every few seconds. I know it’s not my PS4 app because I have access to a friend’s server that works flawlessly every time.
What could be happening to cause this and how do I fix it?
To even come close to answering your question the people here will need:
Details of your setup
Exactly what your server is running on, hardware and operating system
What client you are using
How everything is connected to your network
Exactly what format your file you are having trouble with is in
Also anything else that is running on your server
Lastly logs from when you are having problems.
Without those details and maybe more no one can make even a good guess about what the problem might be.
