hi when watching a currently being recoded Live tv session on an iPad/iPhone you can pause, rewind, fast forward with out issue on the live tv stream but on the apply TV its appealing and crashes or jumps straight the end of the live stream and you cant rewind even though you can pause the session and see there is recoded content, why is this and is there anything that can be done about it ? have also tried play back on a Sony playstation and the give you the option to watch live to start from beginning and you can’t fast forward or rewind
Have just tried my android TV and it works flawlessly on there so just an issue with the Apple TV Please fix !
There is problem with the Apple TV version of Plex at the moment, ongoing issue for many users and haven’t heard a peep from Plex to date on this issue, been going on for months now. I replaced my Apple TV with a Roku for the time being until the issues are fixed, hopefully soon…

Serious bug’s with Live TV and DVR just hang around for months/years. Where once it was a focus to drive new Plex pass subscriptions, the focus has now moved to the online media sources to generate revenue. Personally I didn’t get into Plex and other DVR software before that to watch adverts (all disabled).
We have figured out if you screen mirror from the ipad for anything you are recording and have started to watch lets you watch and pause and fast forward at will so will do that until plex fix it
