Why is your Plex Preview channel on Roku not playing the videos where they left off?

I was watching a movie on my computer, and I went to watch it on my Roku. Normally the video should play where I left off on the computer, but instead it starts from the beginning. Why is this happening?

I have not had any issues with resuming playback from different devices. I just tried it with my PC to my Roku Ultra and resume worked fine. Tested this with both TV Shows and Movies.

How far in the movie were you?
What kind of Roku are you using?
Has it happened to more than one movie?
What Version of Plex are you running? (Full Version #)

I know if you are watching a recording in progress, it will not save you left off.

What kind of Roku are you using? Roku Express+
Has it happened to more than one movie? Just this one. It never happened when I was using the regular Plex channel, but I’m using the Preview channel now.
What Version of Plex are you running? (Full Version #) Version 1.11.0.4633. I was using the version before this one last night when this happened. I just updated to the beta version tonight.

@jfgilliam I wasn’t recording anything last night. I won’t have my DVR setup until next week when my HDHomerun is delivered.

This happens to me all the time. Movies that I am watching on Plex through a Roku Premiere + won’t restart at the same location if I have to stop and quit the application and come back to it later. This happens only on the Premiere +, not a Roku2 that I have in my network or at the desktop app. Seems like Plex should be smart enough to keep track of start time resume no matter what device I am using?
