Why my Pi is Warmer when I do nothing?

Hi,
I have an odd problem. My Pi3 with Rasplex seems to be warmer when I don’t use it.

You can see on this chart the temperature of my pi. Each time the line goes down I was watching something.

Here is my top when I watch nothing.

The first line seems to never stop working. Is it normal?

Do any of you have an idea?

Regards

Mmm its possibly some waiting loop for commands. I wouldn’t worry too much if it’s under 25% (which would mean it is taking the 100% time of a core) and you don’t get a yellow square on the corner (throttled cpu speed because a temperature warning).

I see mine around 4.5% on idle and as high as 22% when precaching. You could also try disabling some unused services like RemotePi Board, Hyperion, samba, etc if you have any issue

What kind of chart is this? Is this a additional Software?

The chart comes from Jeedom. I have another raspberry with Jeedom on it.
Jeedom is en home automation operating system.

@videotecaCNSU . Ok for the loop. I have disabled the service I don’t need.
When my server is off the temp of rasplex is low (53°C).
When it is on but I don’t use rasplex the temp is high (60-70°C).
When I watch something, the temp goes down and stay at 54°C.

Still odd for me.

do you have any addon or daemon installed? do you get any temperature warning from the raspberry?
