Is there any chance plex dvr will ever support internal pcie TV tuners like the Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD? I don’t see any pci tiners mentioned on the official support page:

However the notes section does make mention of “USB/pcie” requiring PMS v1.7.2
There was 1 pci tuner supported.
But it turned out that this one comes in 2 different versions. Currently Plex recognises only 1 of these. Until support is added for the second version, the card was removed from the list of supported devices.
I’m guessing it is one of Hauppauge’s tuners then. They have a reputation of selling different model numbers under the same SKU. I will keep my eyes on the supported tuners page. Thanks.
There is the 1609 for US/Canada/South-Korea.
And there is the 1607, 1629 and others for other parts of the world…
I have a Hauppauge HVR-1255 tuner which functions well with Windows Media Center. Adding the ability to select live TV from one of my Roku players is interesting enough that I would consider getting Plex Pass, but not if I have to buy a new card. Has anyone tried using this older card and have any results to share?
