Will the Hauppauge WinTV-quadHD pcie device ever be supported as it is the perfect solution for my plex server. http://www.hauppauge.com/site/products/data_quadhd.html
I swear I saw this device the day Live TV was released and now is not there… But anyways, please support this device!
This device is half-supported.
Unfortunately, it turned out there are two versions of this (with different chippery onboard.)
So far, Plex only recognises 1 of these 2 different chips.
Support for the second version will be added in the next release of the server software.
Then the device will be re-added to the compatibility list.
I also saw the QuadHD listed as supported, but when I tried to add mine to my Plex, it does not find it. Wasted about 2 hours trying to get it to work. Talk about a let-down after seeing the release posting. I guess I’ve got the unsupported chip.
Any idea when the next update will be released?
