Rumor has it that Sony must approve new app updates.
Well, they already approved the last version.
Clearly you see that your latest push killed our surround sound.
Look into it and fix it ASAP, thank you - and in the meantime:
Whatever you were fixing / improving in this update is moot SINCE YOU BROKE SURROUND SOUND.
So for the love of your revenue stream, why can’t you roll it back?!?
Agreed, my movie room with projector big screen is dead in the water without proper surround sound. Save our weekend please!

Desktop app not supported for TV mode now…
Ps4 = no sound or poor stereo (like bad quality)
Only option is to connect hdd direct and navigate the folders manually!
I got the same problem with the new Plex app for PS4. Sound is immediately downgraded to PCM 2.0 when starting it
