I’ve seen the deals pop up constantly. I almost pulled the trigger on the last 2 lifetime passes.
But I didn’t.
Why should I pay for something I can’t get support on? Where does one even get support for Plex? I go through countless issues that have been posted by others that don’t get answers. Issues that prevent the use of the product.
I’ve posted 2 issues myself that got 0 responses, from @Plex team or community.
What’s the point of paying for software that doesn’t actually give you anything when you pay for it?
And where do I go to actually get technical support for Plex?
Personally, I payed to support a key software, that brings so much happiness to both me and my family, in order to make sure it would survive and evolve.
After all, even developers have to eat and pay rent
