I recently created a smart music playlist with about 200 selection items (resulted in 4000+ selected tracks). Updated and it saved. I can play it, but I cannot edit it or view the tracks before playing. Can play it on Plexamp and Plex app. Anyone else ever have this problem? Would hate to have to start all over to build this playlist so hoping I can get some advice.
If you created the list based on artist or albums, that is what you will see. It will not show individual tracks since that is not the setting you used.
After I created based on artist, I switched view to tracks. That is when I started getting the error. Is there a limitation on how much data Plex can send to browser?
I don’t have that many tracks to test but ~3000 tracks works fine for me. If you are not seeing the list of tracks, most likely there is an issue with just showing 1 or more specific tracks. Unfortunately, it’s going to be hard to identify which tracks may be involved.
Would Los help if the problem? Which ones?

No, logs won’t help. If you open up the browser’s developer tools, then select the playlist. There should be a request that starts out with the following.
https://ip:32400/playlist/12345/items
If you can get the results of that and PM it to me, that might have some info.
