Has anyone been thinking about having a plex client for the wii u being released on Nov 18th? I think it would be great to have a client on it. And being able to use the touchscreen controller at the same time you’re watching video to chose your next video.
It would be more curious if the Wii U's web browser plays nice with the Plex Web client.
As soon as I came across your post I immediately checked the web app on my wii u, and was disappointed that the media player must not be supported. The “play” button is there, but the media does not start…

A Plex client & a Spotify/Rdio app would make the Wii U the best home media center available imho. Any word on development? Crossing my fingers!
Supporting this, the WII U is an absolutely excellent platform for Plex - and it already has some 3rd party apps for it like Netflix, Youtube and Ubisofts ■■■■■■ “community”.
