No. Plex server is not running on your TV, only the client. The tuner on your TV is not accessible for plex server. You need a compatible tuner to work with plex media server.
Is a comparable tuner something we need to purchase or download?
Is a piece of hardware like the HDhomerun Connect, expand or prime. You need also an antenna to receive the OTA signal or a cable card with a cable subscription for the prime. There is also some usb and PCI tuner.
