I’ve been using PLEX for a while and have my Synology NAS store all the TV and Video. I also have a Windows computer set up as a server with a Hauppage dual receiver which works great. I forgot about setting up recording and now I have several episodes of a TV show! My question is regarding the Homerun Connect Quatro and my NAS. I hook up the Homerun to the network and then I use the PLEX app on my Windows computer running off of the NAS server and the app will discover the Homerun like it did on the Hauppauge. Am I correct? If this works, I intend to put the Homerun near the TV antenna outlet in my Home Theater credenza which also has a network switch. I don’t want to make a purchase and find out it’s not going to work the way I hope it does. The reason for the Quatro is four tuners. Thanks.
