Or will it require using Apple’s Rosetta 2 to run as Intel app?
Right now the server is running via Rosetta 2. From what I’ve been reading, Plex are working on a native version but there’s some dependencies that are not yet natively available.
There’s already been an extensive thread about it (with a lot of highs and lows)
There’s even a feature suggestion
As soon as Plex natively supports the M1 Macs, I am going to purchase a plex pass.
