PMP will not be updated after January 30, 2020, but you’ll still be able to use it if you want after that date. We tend to be very conservative with breaking changes in Plex Media Server and you’ll find that some very old clients still work today. That said, by no longer actively supporting it, there is no promise on how long it will continue to work.
