Will there ever be an embedded Plex Media Server download?

I am looking for advice on if it makes sense that we will ever see a embedded version of the plex media server? I currently have a Windows i3 machine running PMP and PMS that I would like to run dedicated. It would be great if it was possible to get an embedded version of both (PMP and PMS) similar to the PMP but I think that is not possible. Having said that I would be just as happy with an embedded version of the PMS. Does this even make sense what I am asking? Any advice or insight would be appreciated.

I have actually been looking at the nVidia Shield Pro quite seriously. I was a little disappointed that at CES they announced a TV and no plans to revised their 2015 shield platform. Heck, at least put a solid state drive in the thing.

Anyone else?
