Does PLEX use bandwidth while accessing it remotely? Will using PLEX remotely via the web or other device count towards my 1TB ISP cap that I have at home?
I am reading different things across the board here and would like a definitive answer.
Yes, it will.
Watching at home will not.
Yes, it will count against your data cap. Consuming your media remotely will require your server to send data to your remote device.
I checked the Xfinity FAQ and it says upload bandwidth counts as well.
