Win10 initial setup, no system tray icon present, did it install correctly?

Server Version#:1.16.0.1226
Player Version#: N/A

I’ve been working on this issue off and on for about 2 years. I install Plex Media Server.exe, but I don’t see any evidence that its running, other than a line item in my task manager. There’s no icon in the system tray to select. I go to plex.tv web client, and it keeps saying “Looking for servers” constantly. I feel as though the installation has not properly installed, but how do I troubleshoot this? If I install the media server, click Launch, and see nothing, what are my options? I’ve checked port 32400, created a new rule to ensure it is open, nothing. Can anyone help?

Perform the “thorough” plex server uninstallation:

Make sure your Windows is up-to-date with security patches and updates.

Download a new copy of the installation .exe (this time use a different web browser or a download manager)
Verify its digital signature for validity.

Install it.

Don’t you mean the SHA-1 checksum(2e4de576aa89584a34099c0673b93766981b18d0)?
I’ve have dozens of bad(corrupt) downloads that still show a digital signature.
