I’m still running Plex server on my Windows 7 desktop, and supposedly the last version I updated to, 1.31.3.6868, would be the last to support Win7. Well now my server is informing me that there’s a new update: 1.32.1.6999. I haven’t tried to install it yet. What will happen if I do? Will the update fail on Windows 7? If so, shouldn’t this update be hidden from me?
I was seeing the same thing. I’m on Win 8.1 enterprise VM, and PMS has been report that there’s updates available, of which I didn’t update. I’m still on 1.31.3.6868.
Today, I looked at PMS, and it’s no longer reporting “Server update available”. I also checked from setup, and it’s saying up to date:
Yeah, same for me. It’s not reporting that there’s a server update available from the web interface anymore, but when I logged in from my iPhone app, it popped up a message at the bottom of the screen telling me that there’s an update available!
The web interface will still report an update available on occasion, so it seems to return intermittently as well.
