Agree. I rolled back to 1.7, since I had this installer in my download folder. It all works again.
Same here, updated Windows to Version 1.15.0.1354-d31489f0
Nothing worked after that.
also not working on MacOS. Can’t watch anything.
Also broken for me. Just adding to the list of people effected by this.
Windows 10 1909
Plex for Windows - 1.15.0.1354-d31489f0
Plex Server - Version 1.19.5.3112
Same. downgrading by that link provided above fixed it though
1.15.1 fix is incoming.
I bet you never put “It’s a quiet release” in release notes again.

FFS no way will I put that in there again. I cursed myself.
That was horrible, I apologize profusely. 1.15.1 has been pushed and will automatically update the failed 1.15.0. Here are the direct dl links for those that want at the jugular.
Up and running again, thanks
Same problem after I’ve updated my client app this morning
Plex 1.15.1 not working also for me.
So I opened Plex player, then installed VLC Player which I had been meaning to do for the last week to play videos. After the install I went back to plex and tried to play a TV show, got the error and immediately assumed a file association conflict with VLC. It wasn’t. 2 hours later after rolling back a week to a system image recovery I was back in action. Only to find out it had nothing to do with VLC install. Sigh.
Everytime they update they break something …
Thanks, Matt! Rapid response and it works, what more could one ask for?
