I just downloaded an update and when completed i cant get any of my movies to play. jus playback error notice
Confirming - same for me. Nothing could be played after the update.

same problem. switched to mozilla and I’m back to working. Something is grossly broken in the latest client update.
Um, same problem here. did they not bug test this client before shipping it?
OH! I may have fixed it, standby.
Last Edit: only way I found to keep it playing and not get errors is to indeed open it in firefox or chrome at plex.tv and logging in. Brings up other issues, this needs fixed and pronto.
This was resolved in 1.15.1.
I believe this is on most everybody …mine as well…nothing new, just revert back to old patch till a hotfix is in place to repair the issues .
Same situation.
Same error, “Unexpected error during playback” on all media. This is on Plex for Windows Version 1.15.0.1354-d31489(f)
Other Win10 desktop player works fine Plex Media Player Version 4.29.2

Just launched it again, update came through. testing now.
Looks good, thanks plex team. Awesome work, love when fixes comes out, but love even more then fixes of fixes come out right after, and not a week later 
15.1.1 did the trick, thanks for the quick fix
