as a lifetime plex pass , using two laptops, this is super annoying
You can temporarily get this working again by Removing the windows Client from PLex Server (Go to devices and remove the windows client) and then setup again from the windows client, If you dont go to the Synced Items page on the server this will keep working until someone from Plex fixes the issue, SImply opening the sync page on the server (If your windows client happens to be the top item or the only item) will break sync so you will need to setup all sync activities from all your clients.

Interesting but not consistent - I have to setup sync on Windows 10 (Surface Pro 2017) every few days and there does not appear to be any consistency as to why. I tend not to use the server sync page although I might have opened it. Having spent most of Friday setting up my sync queue AGAIN (because there is no way to export/import this), sync has failed again thais morning so have to start all over again.
Plex devs - please fix this as a priority over developing some new VR interface that will hardly be used.

Completely agree - get your existing features working first before introducing other things to break!!!
@Maxip You only need to visis the server sync page to corrupt the Sync for the Windows Client (Have spent a fair bit of time working on it and that corrupts it instantly) if You only have 1 Client syncing or the Windows 10 Device was the most recently syncd then the client goes to the top of the list on the sync page and opens by default when you click on the sync tab and your day is over and it wont sync any more, if you think there are other items also breaking it would be interested to know and see If I can recreate .
I’m not sure if one of the recent server updates fixed this, but I noticed my sync is now working.
It’s working for me now too (although I still have to make sure I have an ethernet connection as if I try over WiFi it always has a network error even though my network is absolutely fine)
same here
but there has been no mention of it in the release notes
so now I’m just not going to upgrade anymore
This was due to an error on the Plex.TV side of things, so it wasn’t due to a client or server update.
I’m still having this issue when i try to Sync from another server to my Surface Pro. The transfer will never complete. I can watch it if i stream it from the source, but the sync to watch hit off line never works.
This is really aggravating when i try to get content to watch while I’m not connected to the internet.
I still have consistent errors syncing to my windows 10 Plex app.
I reset everything and was able to sync 1 movie then it goes bad again. Plex can convert but not transfer.
Hoping Plex can address this… it’s been going on for a very long time already.
