Windows 10 App and AC3 audio issue

IO have synced content on my Windows 10 (using the Windows app for Plex)
Files that have audio AC3 5.1 will not work correct. The sound is just a loud noise (almost ear hurting if using headset)
Files that have mp3 codec works just fine. I tried to install all kinds of codecs but i found that windows apps (modern apps) can’t use codecs that is downloaded.

I tried to stream directly from the server and it’s the same. Is this a bug?
Can i somehow change the audio codec used when syncing?

I found that it works if i connect my bluetooth headset. Not sure if it’s the internal soundcard on the laptop that is not working with this. But would be good if i can select audio codec that works more generic on the computer as part of sync like mp3
