Windows 10: No Write Permission - Can't record anything

I know this question has been asked though most of them are for linux. Though none of them really have answers that worked. I cannot use my DVR anymore because all my recordings throw the error no write permission. I have set permissions to Everyone with full control and no luck. I deleted the DVR folder (that the library goes to) and let it create anew and still no luck. It used to work just fine until i moved my DVR folder and now i can’t get it working again. The odd thing is if i manually run any recording they all work. Even if i set it to work like 5 minutes before and wait it starts recording. Some suggestions were to ddelete all recordings? Should i try deleting all program guides recordings as well? I’m almost at the point i may just try to reset it all up.

Have you checked permissions of the actual ‘.grab’ sub folder located in your specified “DVR” folder/library?

If you previously setup recordings with a path such as D:\MyDVR and have now moved it to E:\MyDVR you probably should delete each recording scheduled and recreate it. Prior recordings often have issues when you have moved the record location.

Thanks. I read something about deleting recordings but thought they meant the folders not the actual plex recording in the Programming Guide. I will give it a try.

Thanks that worked.
