Windows 10 on Arm64 support

I just switched to the insider track of Windows 10 arm with support for 64 bit intel apps. I got the 64 bit version of putty installed and running.

I then installed the 64 bit Plex desktop client. Install went ok but when I try to run I can see a Plex process start and then shortly after it terminates. I will try to dig out some logs later to try and see why.

I was hoping to find an arm build of the player here, but for those who are still looking for a good solution, I just use the arm version of edge chromium and make an ā€œappā€ out of app.plex.tv .

Another Surface Pro X user. Please enable Win10 ARM64 support.

Is there anyplace to get such a build as a standalone? Would it run on a Pi4 for example?

Lenovo Flex 5G here. Would love to see ARM support, or at least an x86 installer and let Windows emulate it.

Please enable ARM64 support for Surface Pro X and other devices.

Old topic but still true: I own a SurfaceX and the only way I found to run Plex is as an WebApp with Edge.
Although it is working quite well, it means I won’t be able to sync for offline playing.

The Windows x64 version exist, so we are simply talking of a switch in the compiler to enable WindowsOnArm (yeah, I know I’m lying stating this).

Any chance to have at least a beta build some day?

Honestly, the emulation is too slow for decent performance. I’ve used it on Insider builds, and it’s not viable with the ARM hardware currently available for Windows.

We definitely need an ARM64 version for Windows. Any updates from the team?

Would love to have Arm64 support. PLEASEEEEE!!!

I would be glad to test a ARM64 version of the plex client. I just purchased a SQ2 Surface Pro X and it would be great for the app to work natively on this device! Thanks!
