Windows Installer feature: remember custom install location?

Not sure if this is the right forum for it, but it would be nice if the Windows installer remembered a custom install location, instead of defaulting to C:\Program Files(x86)\ every time.

You already have registry entries in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Plex, Inc. for Application Data and a custom Transcoding location.

Can we add one more for install location?

Gerbil, this might better fit (if not already there) in the "Features and Bug Voting" section of the forum for us PlexPass users.

However, Ineed. I rarely install applications to my C drive any more, and usually limit the size of primary drive in my various OS environments I tinker with.

The variable most windows OSes see as Program Files can be changed of course upon a new setup, however, I've found that's usually more trouble than trying to remember to use the 'options' button when installing new versions of Plex.

Is there a way for me to move the topic?

Thanks!

Just wanted to follow up and say that the 0.9.14.1installer finally seems to remember a custom install location.

Nice. Good to know. Will likely need to continue monitoring that path with each version. I notice things change a lot.
