Windows Plex Media Player not able to use new audio Interface

I just got and plugged in a BEHRINGER (UMC204HD), I am able to get sound out of it from every other program on my PC, but the Plex Player app is having issues.

When i have the 204HD as my defualt audio out device and open plex and play anything, plex does not show up in windows 10 audio settings area.

but if i set my main audio out device to anything elses (like my monitor) and open and play media on the plex player plex will show up in the windows 10 settings and I can hear audio.

Why is the plex media player app unable to use/connect to the UMC204HD?

Plex web app works fine in chrome.
Plex Media Player works with all other audio devices
