i know it’s the same software, but it seems odd to me that PlexConnect with OpenPlex on a Mac minis would be faster than a brand new custom pc. Everything seems to take longer to load. Would have thought it would be the same if not faster.
Anyone else notice this or is OpenPlex making a certain setting change to PlexConnect?
Where is your PMS? Still on the Mac? If so i wonder if it’s to do with the compression when not running on the PMS?
I moved it to the custom pc too.
After the move, did you optimize the PMS database?
Yes, twice. Because I ended up reformatting the drive from Journaled to NTFS.
I should note. By slower I mean the transitions through the trailers app on my Apple TV.
Figured it out the other day, turned Logging to 'Off'. I think it starts on 'Low' or the equivlent and somehow I must have changed and forgotten when trying to fix a lag. I had it on 'Hight' :) Turning it to 'Off' got rid of the loading time instantely. Sorry for being silly!
