Hi. One question. It’s possible to migrate from Plex media server windows to unraid docker ithout losing shares? If it’s possible can you tell me how? The toturials that Plex have only keep metadata and other stuff but not my shares. It’s possible? Thanks.
This is a tough migration.
You must do the following
- Setup the server in the container.
- Go back into the Windows registry to dig out the server ID values.
- Using a Linux text editor (not a windows editor), Replace the newly generated id numbers (because it created a new server) with the old ID numbers (PMS must be stopped).
- If all is done correctly, when next started, PMS will assume the identity of the server
