Will all music management then be done in Plexamp (which is currently isn’t available?)
Will Plexamp be able on Apple TV in order to play music on it?
That was asked in the fireside threads and Plex does not have an answer for us yet. We are all waiting to see what happens.
Do you have a link to the fireside threads? I searched around before posting and couldn’t where this announcement had already been discussed.
I don’t have a link handy but search for “fireside 2024” and the main thread and the followup thread should come up.
I can tell you I asked specifically if we’d be getting music management stuff added to Plexamp, or if it would remain in the web app… And a staffer said they were not sure yet.
They also said that Plexamp would be coming to “more” platforms, but were not specific.
If someone can link to better info I am sure they will be here soon, but as far as I know – this is all we know today.
