Same issue. This is causing Plex to cast via screen mirroring instead of directly (Not getting the “Ready to Cast” screen on my TV anymore).

Edit: this may be the same issue and certainly seems something has changed in the Chrome Version 72 update: [Cast] API is not available in Chrome 72
