Just as in subject. I would like to able to turn off songs cross-fade globally…

Agreed. I don’t like cross fading either, whether it be normal or “sweet”.

There is already. During playback, tap on the small icons under the Pause button.

I don’t have the option you are talking about.
Anyway I think it should be global option somewhere in the client settings… to turn this off globally, not just for the current playback.

“Overlapping” is disabled automatically if you play an album. So try playing a mixed playlist from your server.

OK, it is and is off for real playlists. But I still hear cross-fade when, for example, I change a track manually.

That is done to prevent clicks an pops and cannot be switched off.
