There is a wrong translation => The text field probably saying “Cast” is wrongly translated to “Abspann” (= credits) in the german version.
Plex HTPC sieht bei mir in Englisch so aus:

Kompilierst du die App eventuell selbst und arbeitest dabei mit veralteten Quelldateien?
Hab eben eigentlich nur das Update geladen und installiert. Danach stand da “Abspann”… Ich probiere den Plex installer mal in einer sandbox. Ich sollte vlt dazu sagen, dass ich gerade keinen Zugriff auf meinen Server habe (ist aus) und nur kurz bei Plex Movies geschaut habe.
Oh, moment. Das Obige war die Vorgänger-Version.
Die neuste hat tatsächlich diesen völlig verkehrten String drin. Ich werde das mal an die Entwickler weiterleiten.
Denn “Abspann” als Einzelstring taucht in dem Übersetzungsprojekt für HTPC gar nicht auf.

(habs auch gerade in einer Sanbox installiert und da wird es auch angezeigt - also Abspann* (hätte mich auch gewundert, wenn es dort richtig gewesen wäre…))
Es scheint wohl so zu sein, dass “Cast” durch “Credits” ersetzt wude. Und da die Strings im Übersetzungsprojekt ohne Kontextinformationen vorliegen, wurde das natürlich ursprünglich als “credit roll” interpretiert. Was tatsächlich “Abspann” heißt.
Ich hab das jetzt korrigiert. es wird sicherlich einige Zeit dauern, bis das in der App ankommt.

Danke! Jetzt wo ich weiß, dass ein Fix kommt, kann ich vorerst gut damit leben. 
The only alternative which would come to my mind would be to leave it at the english term “crew”. Which I think is used in today’s international filmmaking anyway.
But we are aiming for a German translation and that term is/was used in Germany at one time.
But I’m open for alternatives, if they are universally understood.
Hmm, I honestly would prefer the term “crew”. As you wrote that is also internationally used and Google Translate even translates crew to crew (English to German). For example, Amazon Prime also uses the term crew in the German UI. I would say it is safe to use it in the German translation. 
Okay, found a workaround for me…
After digging through the install folder I found the translation file => “C:\Program Files\Plex\Plex HTPC\web-client\packages_localization_translations_de_json.js” => searched for Drehstab and changed it to my needs - fixed…
